Our Story
BRABAR started with one girl who couldn't find a bra that fit.
Our founder Wendy watched her daughter struggle through the awkward, frustrating ritual so many teens know too well: trying on bra after bra, none of them quite right, most of them measured the wrong way entirely. Her daughter wore a 28DD — a small band, a full cup — and almost nothing on the market was built for that combination. Standard sizing methods kept pointing her toward bands that were too loose and cups that didn't fit her actual shape.
That frustration became a mission. Wendy dug into the rib cage measuring method — measuring the band directly under the bust, rather than adding inches the way traditional sizing does — and used it to build BRABAR from the ground up. The philosophy is simple: the band does the support, so it has to fit snug and accurate; the cup, made from a stretch fabric, adapts as a body changes.
Today, BRABAR makes wire-free bras, bralettes, and underwear across band sizes 28–38 and cups A–DDD/F, with a particular focus on the smaller band sizes that most brands still overlook. Every design starts from the same question that started the company: what does a girl with this exact shape actually need to feel comfortable?
We're still answering that question, one bra at a time.
