How to Measure at Home

1. Measure Ribcage

Measure around directly under your bust and around the rib cage.

Your rib cage measurement = band size. Round to the nearest even whole number to determine your band size.

2. Measure Full Bust

Measure around directly over your bust and around the back. Round to the nearest even whole number.

3. How to Determine Your Bra Size

Full bust measurement − ribcage measurement = cup size

1 inch = A cup
2 inches = B cup
3 inches = C cup
4 inches = D cup
5 inches = DD/E cup
6 inches = DDD/F cup

For example:

Overbust measurement 36 − rib cage measurement 32 = 4

A 4-inch difference is a D cup — bra size 32D. 32 for the rib cage band size, and D cup for the 4 inches of cup capacity needed for the bust.
