How To Find Bras for Bra Sizes 32D, 32DD/E, 32DDD/F
Why wireless bras even for girls with petite ribcages and full busts? Because the key to a perfect bra is having your correct Band Size. It is the difference between the Band Size and the Overbust Measurement that determines your Cup Size. If your Band Size changes, so does the difference between the Band Size and the Overbust measurement, and therefore your Cup Sizechanges.
Sound confusing?
I promise it’s not as complicated as it sounds.
The support in your bra should come from your band, not your straps. A bra should fit like a good-fitting strapless bra. If your band is too big, the bra band will move and strain your back. If your band is too tight, you might experience uncomfortable tightness and spilling. If you have your correct Band Size and Overbust Measurement, you will have your correct Cup Size, therefore, you will have your correct bra size.
A bra size is made up of your Band Size and Cup Size, a number, and a letter.
How to find your bra size is a matter of difference between your Overbust Measurement and your Band Size.
YOUR OVERBUST MEASUREMENT - YOUR BAND SIZE = YOUR CUP SIZE
You can check out our Fit Guide and Bra Size Calculator for a more in-depth look at how to find your bra size.
Simply put, how to find your Band Size is you measure your ribcage aka your underbust. The Band Size should be 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 and so on. This tells you that you should round your ribcage measurement or underbust measurement to the nearest even whole number.
How to find your Overbust Measurement is to measure your overbust aka the fullest part of your breasts. You round to the nearest whole number, so if it’s 32.5 inches, then it’s 33 inches, and so on.
Once you have your Band Size and Overbust Measurement, subtract the numbers to get the cup size.
Less than 1-inch difference = AA-Cup
1 inch difference = A-Cup
2 inch difference = B-Cup
3 inch difference = C-Cup
4 inch difference = D-Cup
5 inch difference = DD-Cup or E-Cup
6 inch difference = DDD-Cup or F-Cup
7 inch difference = DDDD-Cup or G-Cup
With your Band Size and Cup Size in hand, you have your bra size.
And that’s it. That’s all you need to find your bra size.
